I am also in the same boat. I saw mine and my wife's date updated to 08/21/2010. But no status change. Our priority date is March 2005 EB2. Is this soft LUD could be due to RFE? Not sure if they send RFE without updating status?

I am thinking of waiting till the end of this week and ask my Attorney what is his suggestions on 2nd time filing of I-485.
Does any one know if the I-485 applications mailed to USCIS thru USPS and reached on July 2nd has been rejected.
I would like to if anyone whose I-485 app reached USCIS on July2nd is planning to send for the second time.
I filed on July 2 W/O employment letter. So I asked my lawyer about file a 2nd application since now we have the letter on hand. His respondes on filing another application is negative. He said it will yeild confusion. Hope it helps.

Some of the members reported that they got cards while the message was "Card Production Ordered".
I am not sure how this works;)
BTW i have question on FP Notice. Will the status change to "Document Mailed to applicant" on 485 once they send FP notice?
Reason i asked is my wife relocated to different place. Though i changed her address onlilne, i wonder where FP notice goes ie to old add' or new add'

My passport was issued with 5 year validity (2002-2007). Hope this endorsement will not cause any issue since I'm renewing the passport after the expiration date.
As I said , Id did not cause any delay in our case. We tried after our passports have been expired. Good luck.
But if you are trying to do this for filing 485 , I suggest going in person if possible so that you can cut down on time.

I was wondering if anyone has a clue as to in what order are they processing the EADs.
Because I put in random numbers for EADs with notice date Oct 11th (same as mine) and I cannot seem to find a pattern.
Are they processed totally randomly?????

BTW, Any one with Future employment got RFE. I got an RFE but still dont what actually has been asked. got to wait and see. How much does it usually take to recieve the RFE mail since it is updated on the website?

as long as ur 140 status is still approved and 485 is pending more thant 180 days u can invoke ac21.

I am using AC21 and moving to a new employer and the new employer does not have group insurance. He suggested to look out for your own insurance.
And I am looking for a family insurance fore me, my wife and infant kid.
Can you please let me know the best way or best insurance to take for a family for all of us (including maternity).
Gurus, please suggest.

I spoke to my Lawyer regarding this situation, he said that there is nothing we can do about I140.
Your attorney is right that if employer has withdrawn I-140, one can not do anything. But if it over 180 days since you filed your I-485 (which seems to be the case), this withdrawal should not impact your I-485. I think during the move from NSC to TSC, they may have committed some data entry error.
Just curious how big was your previous employer and what do you do?

My mother has applied for visitor visa 4 times at Mumbai Consulate by now and everytime with out any luck.
First Time: My mother and father applied together and the reason they gave was my graduation. Consulate gave Visa to only one (my father) of them.
Second Time: My mother applied alone. Rejected saying I am the only son and she won't come back.
Similar for 3rd and 4th time.
I am now planning to have her apply for the 5th time and this time I am going to have her tell the consulate to keep my father's passport this way consulate can be sure that my mother will go back to India.
Can you guys suggest something else?
