why do you want to do that - unless you have international travel plans ahead. even if so - the best bet would be getting it done in india. i dont see that many people were successful in obtaining visa from canada, who dont have masters from USA. my2c.

I am one of the July filer, after 180 days if i move to new company with full-time position and down the road What happen if the new company layoff or shutdown the business? Can i move to another company using AC21 again?
yes. You can keep changing jobs as many times as you want, invoking AC21. Keep sending USCIS a new G28 (IF you are changing lawyers) and Employment Verification Letter whenever you jump.

HI Guys,
I recently received my I-140 approval (premium) and i was recapturing my PD of June 10 2003. The STRANGE thing is that this time i see an "A" number above my name in the Beneficiary column.
More importantly last time when the I140 approval came along, it said CLEARLY that I could not apply for my 485. This time it says I am eligible and that I should contact the local INS office.
HAS ANYONE had a similar experience and does the A number mean the "immigrant visa number" by ANY chance??

If the child is born in india, when both(husband and wife) are in EAD, and no valid H1. Then the child cannot come to USA using H4. The child can come using visitor visa (B2) for short periods...
Similary if you are in GC, then the following rule applies --- "A permanent resident of the US may bring a child born abroad to the US and have the child automatically receive permanent residency; provided that the minor child is brought to the US the first time either parent re-enters the US. This latter point is incredibly important." (Did a google for this)
If you are in H1, then H4 is always there....

It is really helpful. In past 9 year I have changed 5 employers.
What are these payroll records? I guess they are from employer side
as an employee I can only have only pay slips.Does these work?
Do I need to ask my current employer to attach the paryoll records of mine or shall i send my pay slips including all what ever i have previously....
Does the current employer organizational charts are good or do I need to get from previous employers which I dont have and difficult to get those... ??.

Hi All,
My priority date is March 2006 in the EB2 category. I am scheduled to be married to an Indian citizen in December 2010. However, based on the visa bulletin, it seems possible that I might get my 485 approved as early as August 2010. What are my options to delay my green card processing until I get married? What other options to I have to bring my wife to USA in case I receive my green card before marriage?
Any suggestions and advices would be greatly appreciated.

Why not do a registered marraige first , file her adjustment of status and have a regular wedding in december. It is all in good faith.

I feel funny to look at the way we get worried. I saw another post on IV couple of days back.
The applicant has left job 2 years back and never notified USCIS. Never invoked AC21. He said his employer revoked approved I140. He got his GC now. I believe his PD is Sep-2005 EB2.
My colleague was mentioning, his friend came here through Indian company (recent scandal one). He has some 5+ years of experience. Applied through EB1 as MNC Manager. Got his GC in an year.
Whereas we are worrying about small time windows like this post. Should we wait 1 year after GC? etc...
I also worry a lot being extra cautious about job, immigration, etc. I feel it is just not worth it.
People make best use of Immigration other than some worried people who are stuck with EB3 or EB2. On top of it, recently EB3 folks and EB2 folks are fighting among themselves.

b) If we need to get a clarification on this post-GC situation to change jobs, whom can we contact.

Nuances: Job Offer is Key
As mentioned above, an employment-based green card case is typically based on a job offer. In considering the use of AC21, the new job offer needs to exist prior to approval of the I-485. It is not necessary to start employment in the new position prior to approval. This can become important, given the volume of I-485 approvals our firm is receiving at this time. Many individuals will accept a job offer, give the current employer proper notice and, while working out the notice period get the I-485 approval. In such a case, AC21 would still apply, as the new job offer existed before the approval. These individuals would be expected to start their new, AC21 jobs very shortly after approval.
We at the Murthy Law Firm wish to emphasize that the example given above is quite different from accepting a new job offer shortly after receiving a green card. AC21 portability is available prior to approval; afterwards, it is not mentioned anywhere in the statute or regulations or USCIS guidance as a viable option.

I know of another PERM case which has taken about this length of time, they are also waiting for an appeal to go through and it has been eight months so far since the appeal was filed.
It would appear the PERM process is becoming beset with its own set of problems and we all thought the old system was awful.

is the first website for the state of CA (AFAIR). It was started in 1995 or so. There are some negative things associated with CL, but it is a great resource for the general public. An example, in 2004, I had to sell an old car. Using CL, I sold it in a day (within 24 hours). :)
Additionally, dice.com is also a good resource for jobs (temp as well as perm)

And the jobs posted there are all nice and proper, unlike some of hte items for sale, because craigslist charges for job posting ($75 I believe). IN fact the only way craigslist makes money is by charging for job postings and that alone has kept it profitable!

Hi,
i got help from ym friends and they giving suggestion to use blend expression.
in Blend, create a storyboard which make the the control opacity to 0 at 0sec and after 5 sec set opacity to 5sec. On load of the popup play the storyboard.
But i want to do it in VS-08 and by the same time,on mouse over to the list item the popup shuld appear as i mentioned in my query.
please try the above solution and let me know soon
