Well my good friends Maybach certainly gone ahead and done it again. Maybach is currently revamping their Zeppelin fleet which premiered at the 2009 Gevena Motor Show in March.
Only 100 units (the most exclusive Maybach’s ever) will be made selling for US $524,000 for the 57 (ft) Zeppelin or US $610,000 for the 62 (ft) Zeppelin. Here we have a 6.0-Liter V12 twin-turbo, 640 HP and 20-inch black chrome wheels. Maybach says the 2010 Maybach 57 (ft) Zeppelin is meant to be owner-driven; this is clearly not just a car. The 2010 Maybach Zeppelin will available in SeptembeMaybach revealed today the 2009 Landaulet - the world’s most exclusive open-top luxury saloon. First revealed as a concept in November 2007, the new Landaulet will go on sale in autumn 2008 at a price of EUR 900,000 (or US$ 1.35 million).
The 2009 Landaulet is powered by an uprated V12 engine, developed for the Maybach 57 S and the Maybach 62 S. Thanks to twin turbochargers, the V12 engine develops 612 hp from a displacement of 5980 cc.
The Maybach Landaulet is based on the Maybach 62 S – which can claim to be the world’s most powerful series-produced chauffeured saloon. Maybach technicians have removed the rear roof module in order to afford passengers an unobstructed view of the sky above. The side walls have been invisibly reinforced with an integral tubular steel structure. As these measures have not altered the silhouette of the luxury saloon, the generously dimensioned doors and the complete interior with reclining seats remain unchanged.
